Getting to Dubai

Dubai is easily accessible from many parts of the globe. Dubai International Airport looks after arrivals from many countries, including Switzerland, Austria, China, Russia, Holland, Germany, Greece and the UK. It also offers internal flights across the Emirates and is a state-of-the-art airport that boasts many unique services.

Getting around in Dubai will soon become even easier with the completion of the Metro Rail system in 2009. Car hire is not recommended as the mix of nationalities in the city has resulted in a simultaneous mix of driving styles. The city also operates a zero-tolerance policy on drink-driving with penalties including jail or deportation.
